Here you can find the manual for the Contao 5 Visitors Bundle.
This extension allows you to count hits and visits of your website.
The output shows separately the hits and visits of the current day as well as the respective total number. In the backend there are a statistic overview.
Visitors Bundle used the extension “BotDetection Bundle”. This prevents counting of traffic from bots / search engines. But there is no 100% guarantee.
since 1.17 Since forced separation (DSL) has not existed in Germany for some time now, it is no longer possible to determine on the server side whether an IP address belongs to the same visitor or to a new visitor. Therefore, as of version 1.17, we no longer refer to visitors, but to visits to the website.
